Entomology and Plant Pathology offers graduate and doctorate degrees and a minor in entomology and Plant Pathology. Other majors require courses in either of the two curriculums giving students their first taste of entomology and plant pathology.
     Students working in entomology study the effect of insects on plants, domestic animals, and wildlife species. Plant pathology students research crop diseases, pest management and disease development.

     Graduates of entomology and plant pathology have many choices to take when starting their careers. Many opportunities are with government agencies, private businesses and consulting. Starting salaries range from $35,000 - $60,000.
