The LEAD2007 Conference is being filled with outside-the-workshop
events. With these ranging from sports activities and music to dancing
and food, there should be something that everyone can enjoy. Additional

Alabama Sam
Thursday, Feb. 15, 7:30 pm
A national comedy hit will highlight the opening
night dinner as out first special guest of the LEAD2007 Conference.
Dinner will definitely be more than food while Sam's on stage.

Thursday, Feb. 15, 9:30 pm
Join in the fun of singing your favorite songs
your way. Perform your favorite duet, pour your heart out
with a ballad or rock out with a class hit. Friday night's
karaoke session is all about having fun.

Montgomery
Friday, Alabama's Capital City
The city of Montgomery is Alabama's second most
populous city. It boasts a AA baseball team "The Biscuits",
the famous Alabama Shakespeare Festival, and the Montgomery
Zoo. It is known for its role in the Civil War, housing the
White House of the Confederacy, and also for being a central
location in the Civil Rights movement.

Alabama Farmers Federation
Friday, Alabama's largest agricultural
organization
Created by farmers, led by farmers and dedicated
to serving farmers, the Alabama Farmers Federation first emerged
from the Alabama soil in 1921. The organization has grown
from 30,000 members 50 years ago to more than 460,000 members
statewide today.

E.V. Smith Research Center
Friday, an Auburn Experiment Station
This 3,150-acre research facility, established
in 1978, is the closest outlying station in the Alabama Extension
System. E.V. Smith focuses on Beef cattle, dairy, agronomic
horticultural crops, engineering, and waste management.

AU Equestrian Team Demonstration
Friday, Auburn's Agricultural Varsity
Sport
The Auburn Equestrian Center, home of the 2006
National Championship Auburn Equestrian Team, is part of the
AU College of Agriculture. This 60-acre facility is located
on the edge of campus, five minutes from central campus. The
Center offers two side-by-side arenas for Equestrian practices
and meets.

Dance with Live Music
Friday, Feb. 16, 9:00 pm
Alabama and the South are proud of their musical
heritage. Our Saturday night dance will feature live music
performed by Alabama musicians. Country, folk, bluegrass and
more will set the stage for a Saturday night dance.

Campus Tours/Wrestling/Baseball
Saturday, Feb. 17, 2:00 pm
On Sunday, enjoy an afternoon of Auburn - stroll
the campus, tour buildings in your area of interest, stop
by a wrestling match, or take yourself out to the ball game
with Auburn Baseball. Tickets to the Auburn vs. UNC Greensboro
baseball game can be purchased for $5.00 during registration.
