Ag Heritage Park:  Events

It's been a busy football season at the Park!  We had 100 tent tailgater spaces reserved in the fenced greenspace in front of the Dairy Barn and an additional 50 on the Alabama Farmers Pavilion side of the Park.

Activities at the Park were further expanded this year with corporate tailgating packages available for the first time.  These packages provided participants private tailgating space to host guests, 60 parking spaces, two wide-screen televisions, catering kitchen and restroom facilities.

The combined activities of all three areas certainly resulted in the an exciting day for each home game as families and friends interacted in tent tailgating areas while children of all ages enjoyed the open green space for a bit of football of their own.

Ag Heritage Park is a self-funded project, receiving its financial support through private donations and event fees.  Revenues received from the 2007 tailgate packages will help support the Ag Heritage Park Legacy Fund for on-going construction, development and maintenance efforts.
