Back in 1872, Auburn University was designated Alabama’s first land-grant college. In the decades since, Auburn University and the College of Agriculture have been meeting society’s challenges through a three-part mission of teaching, research, and outreach.

Building on that strong history of service to Alabama and the world, the College of Agriculture continues to meet current and future challenges.
