Several CoAg students or recent CoAg graduates have been called to serve in Iraq. We’ll be featuring some of these students and their stories in future issues of Ag Illustrated, but for now we wish them a safe tour of duty and speedy return to their families and to the CoAg

family.
      Among those on active duty are Will Hurd, an agricultural economics and rural sociology major from Grand Bay, Ala., Bryan Scoggins,an agronomy and soils/turfgrass management major from Jackson’s Gap, Ala., who graduated in May 2003, and Daniel (Graham) Haynes, also an agronomy and soils/turfgrass management major from Wellington, Ala. Also activated were Daniel Eckman, an animal science/muscle foods major from Elberta, Ala., and his brother, Matthew, who is an agriscience education major at Auburn.
