'Raising Hope'Grad Student Prepares Dogs for Life of Service to the BlindRaising any animal is a huge responsibility. Raising a dog whose eventual role will be to help others is an even bigger one. Jennie Huntrods, a graduate student in the Auburn College of Agriculture’s rural sociology program, has been raising puppies for Leader Dogs for the Blind for more than a year now and is currently training her second puppy, a golden retriever named Dinah.
