Ag Ambassadors
The Ag Ambassadors are official hosts and hostesses for the College.
The Association provides financial support, funds an endowment for Ag Ambassador activities, and recruits Ambassadors for future membership in the Association. |

Contemporary Ag Program
The Contemporary Ag Program (CAP) promotes clearer communication
between ag leaders and current ag students through seminars presented by CEOs and others in ag-related companies or with a connection to Auburn agriculture.
The Association works with the College’s Ag Council to identify speakers for seminars each semester.
Ag College Days
During the spring and fall of each year, faculty, current students, and alumni from the College of Agriculture travel throughout the state to visit with high school and junior college students about the College’s majors and programs.
The Association assists with the College’s Ag College Days as needed, making logistical arrangements for the events or providing meals.

Graduation Breakfast
On the morning of graduation, the College of Agriculture hosts a breakfast for graduates, their family, and friends.
|
| Members of the Association present certificates to graduates who are receiving New Graduate Life Memberships and encourages graduates to continue their involvement with the Association and the College. |
Ag Alumni Association Scholarships
More than $500,000 in scholarships and awards are given annually to Auburn University College of Agriculture undergraduate students. The Association supports College of Agriculture scholarships in a variety of ways.
One-hundred percent of life dues are added to the Association’s scholarship endowment. Each year, two scholarships are funded from earnings on the endowment:
Ag Alumni/Ag Ambassador Scholarship.
Ag Alumni/Bill Alverson Scholarship.
Proceeds from an annual auction, held in conjunction with Homecoming activities, fund the Fall Roundup Scholarship.
Three memorial scholarships have been established through the Association:
Charles F. Simmons Memorial.
E. V. and Martha North Smith Memorial.
L. Aubrey Smith Memorial Scholarships.
Contact Chris Gary or Mark Wilton in the College of Agriculture’s Development Office for information about giving to existing scholarships programs or creating new scholarships.
State 4-H and FFA Awards
Members of 4-H and Future Farmers of America test their knowledge and skills each year in statewide competition.
In support of these activities, the Association sponsors proficiency awards so that FFA members are given the opportunity to compete and demonstrate talents learned in agriscience classrooms and FFA chapters around the state. |
