The College of Agriculture, in cooperation with Alabama Farmers Federation and the Alabama Cooperative Extension System, are offering three study tours in 2000
to Australia, Hungary and Germany, and Poland and Germany.

Arrangements are not complete for Australia but will include visits to the St. Lucia and Gatton campuses of Queensland University and tours to several areas along the Gold Coast. Cost of this 15-day trip is $3,500. This trip is scheduled for March 22-April 15.

The Hungary/Germany trip will include visits with the President of Germany and to the famous Reichtag center of government, and the Pergamon Museum, site of the famous Egytian exhibit. This tour will take place June 21-July 6 and will cost $2,400 per person, including airfare, lodging, and meals.

The Poland/Germany trip is scheduled for August 17-29 and will include a visit to Auschwitz Concentration Camp and several historic WWII sites in Poland and a tour of Berlin. Cost for this trip is approximately $2,000.

All these tours include extensive tours of agriculture and agricultural universities in each of these countries. Cost of all these tours includes airfare and in-country transfers, lodging, and most food.
